Color: The Most Important Decision

Picking your colors is a huge deal! This swing set will be in your backyard for the next 10+ years; you better like its appearance!

When designing a swing set, there are 5 places you need to pick a color. I’ll review them one by one so you have all the info you need to get the right color combo!

But most importantly, there is no price difference for any of the colors! And you can mix and match if you want to!

Vinyl and Decking

You have two options for the vinyl sleeve of your playset and the color of the decking on it. You can go with bright white vinyl with gray decking or ivory vinyl with brown decking. These cannot be interchanged.

One way of looking at it is that the bright white and gray are modern, bright, and chic but show dirt quickly. Ivory and brown are classic colors that hide dirt better but don’t pop like bright white.

We offer black vinyl as an upgrade option for a more natural colorway on all swing sets and playhouses. You can see it on the Cottage Playhouse – Naturalist Edition.

Slides and Swings

95% of customers get matching slides and swings though a few free spirits break this rule. You can choose between red, blue, green, and gray for your slides and swings.

Gray is available only for belt swings, trapeze bars, gliders, and deluxe toddler swings.

Accents and Hardware

The spindles, window shutters, metal hardware, braces on the swing beams, and diamonds fall into this category. You can choose between blue, red, green, black, and white.

Playhouses and Roofs

If you are getting a playhouse, you can choose blue, red, green, gray, white, ivory, brown, and black for the walls.

Our roofs are available in blue, red, green, gray, white, ivory, and black, though we do not have white or ivory 4’x4′ plastic roofs.

Fun Accessories

It gets a little complicated because color choices can vary greatly depending on what accessory you are looking at. To not overwhelm you with text, I suggest visiting our website to check out our color options.

Phew, that was a lot of info. I hope you found it helpful.
