Before we begin, let’s remind ourselves where we stood at the end of 2023. The best sellers of the 2023 season were as follows:

The 2024 season proved to be exciting and packed with new designs. From our new A-frame playhouses to new designs such as the Overlook Playhouse and new colorways, 2024’s winners had stiff competition.
As a side note, remember that just because a swing set or playhouse is not on our best-seller list doesn’t mean it is not the perfect swing set for you and your family. Most of our swing sets, playgrounds, and playhouses are customized to fit each unique family. Our best-seller list creates an unbeatable starting point for first-time shoppers to see what designs sparked excitement for other customers.
And now, let’s dive into the list!
#5 – The Cottage Playhouse
The Cottage Playhouse’s appearance in our best-selling playset list surprised no one. However, the fact that it fell to number five on our list was a surprise. A great playhouse like the Cottage could and should be number one, which shows how awesome the following swing sets and playhouses will be.
The Cottage Playhouse’s modern roof and smaller footprint make it unique. Perfect for the family wanting a playhouse to swing and play in their backyard, it has all the great features without gobbling up all the space in your backyard.
The 6’x6’ playhouse has room for outside furniture and toys and easily transforms into a restaurant or secret hideout in your children’s imagination (for a playhouse size comparison, check out this blog post). The waterfall slide adds lots of fun and opportunities for their imaginations to transform it into a speedway, a rocket ship, or an escape hatch!
And we can’t talk about the Cottage Playhouse swing set without discussing the staircase. The staircase is our best access point. No ducking under railings; it allows you, grandma, kids, uncles, and pets to go up and down from the playhouse easily.
#4 – The Wave Rider
Loved by all the staff who routinely get to play on all our designs, the Wave Rider is making waves in our best-sellers list. It jumped up a spot from earlier in the season to claim the fourth position, and it is easy to see why. This swing set soars up to 7’ tall; from that height, your children can play in the spacious 6’x8’ play deck or zoom down one of the two slides!
The 7’ tall rock wall on the back of this vinyl swing set provides a great challenge for kids of all ages and lends itself to creative play. It’s not just a rock wall; in your children’s imagination, it’s the rocky craig the adventuring party has to scale to reach the dragon’s lair!
The swing beam has four positions, so fighting over the swings is unnecessary. The hammock swing at the end of the beam welcomes bookworms, parents with a cold drink, or kids who just need to take a breather for a second.

#3 – The Palace Playhouse
The Palace Playhouse leaped into our best-seller’s top five this year, locking in the 3rd spot. Like great sports teams, the Palace has all the perfect pieces to keep appearing in the best playhouses category for years to come!
One of these incredible pieces is the spacious 8’x8′ playhouse. It is wide and has plenty of head space. The turbo tube slide and rock wall are great additions that add creative storytelling potential to the playhouse. The staircase makes the playhouse easily accessible for the little ones, parents, or grandparents! The high swing beam has three swing positions, while the monkey bars attached at the end give your kids a place to test their strength and coordination.
The Palace Playhouse Swing Set is an elite modern playhouse packed with fun yet spacious and roomy. With all the contemporary color options you want and its easy customization, the Palace could take the top position next season!
#2 – The Cubby’s Fort Swing Set
The Cubby’s Fort continues an impressive run of appearances in our best sellers. This swing set continues to bring fun and play to backyards all across the country, and while it is not the biggest, flashiest set we offer, the Cubby’s Fort Swing Set is the classic swing set design.
Cubby’s Fort is one swing set that checks all the boxes. Compact design? Check. Premium features such as checkerboard sandbox? Check. Monkey Bar Swing Beam? Check. Rock wall/ladder combo and a great slide? Check and check.
The Cubby’s Fort Swing Set will always be among our top five best sellers. It is the perfect blend of exciting features, price, and space.
#1 – The Sea King Swing Set
The Sea King Swing Set dynasty continues. Some may call it the perfect swing set, but one thing is certain: our families have loved the combination of premium features, a spacious playdeck, and a relatively small footprint.
The Sea King Swing Set’s extra roomy playdeck ensures no one is left out of the fun. The 6’x8’ playdeck has space for whatever your kids can cook up, plus some. The rock wall, waterfall slide, and monkey bar swing beam add active fun to the set and spark imaginative play.
Of course, it has a staircase as the access point. You wouldn’t expect anything less from the king of swing sets.
The Sea King’s selling point is that it is spacious, easily customizable, great for large families and small ones alike, and lays out in a space-saving way. The features of the Sea King inspire play and keep the kids bolting out the back door to play day after day.
Honorable Mentions
Chalet A-frame Playhouse
Though not in the top 5, it is comfortably in the top 10. Keep an eye on this playhouse swing set; it could make a run for the top five in 2025!
The Chalet A-frame Playhouse continues to wow families nationwide (yes, we deliver and install in the lower 48 states), and maybe, in time, it will dethrone the Palace. The Chalet showcases the team’s dedication to pushing playhouse design forward.
The Overlook Playhouse
The Overlook Playhouse Swing Set will step into the top five in 2025. Launched mid-season, the Overlook Playhouse just needed a bit more time. Given a few more weeks, it would have contended with some of the greats on this list.
Our only double-deck playhouse, the Cottage Playhouse Swing Set, allows your kids to rule and reign over your backyard from a 7’ height. Should their imaginative play call for a quick escape, the turbo tube slide provides the perfect getaway. The lower tower’s dual racing slides make for an entertaining challenge, and the swings, hammock, lemonade stand, and more will keep your kids outside till dark closes in!
Predictions for 2025
The perfect design of the Sea King Swing Set will carry it into another winning year. However, I think the Overlook will replace the Palace as the top-selling playhouse model. The Wave Rider will struggle to replace the Cubby’s Fort, but I think I will make the bold prediction that the Wave Rider will be at 3rd and the Cubby’s Fort will be at 4th. The Palace could drop to 5th, pushing the Cottage Playhouse from the top five best-sellers.
